|Ana Villarama ’19, a Communication Design major, designed a national honor society magazine cover while at MIAD and is now a designer at Hanson Dodge. Watch video about how her scholarship helped her.|
|Lucero Gallegos ’21, an Illustration major with a double minor in Communication Design and Fine Arts, is a first-generation college student. Her Pre-College Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship have made it possible to attend MIAD and excel.|
|MacKenzie Pankey ’18, an Interior Architecture and Design major, received a MIAD scholarship and recently won Best in Show at the Midwest Fine Furnishings Show for a furniture design project.|
|Eduardo Rocha ’19, an Industrial Design major, immigrated from Mexico and received a scholarship to attend MIAD’s Pre-College Program and a scholarship to attend MIAD. He is the first in his family to attend college.|
|Tiffany Do ’17, an Industrial Design graduate, is a first-generation American and was the first in her family to attend college. Following an internship, she also is now the first Industrial Designer employed at Mortara Instrument.|
|Xavier Ruffin ’10, a Communication Design graduate, is a Milwaukee native who shares how the city and MIAD influenced his life as a creative professional. He is currently the Creative Director at Cynosure Creative Agency in Los Angeles.|
|Julie Xiong ’12, a Communication Design graduate, is an artist/designer/entrepreneur with an incredible story of perseverance despite the multitude of obstacles presented to her as a first-generation college student.|
|Julie Wayer ’12, an Industrial Design graduate, was the first in her family to attend a private college, something made possible by her Presidential Scholarship.|
