Event Calendar

Recipients of the 2024–25 Ruth Arts + MIAD Artists Grants will share their work with the MIAD community this March. This grant program supports artists in the research and development of new work that advances both their individual artistic practices and their growth as educators.

All presentations will take place during Common Hour (11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.) in the Lubar Innovation Center, and lunch will be provided. We are excited to come together to celebrate the creativity, dedication, and accomplishments of these artists.

Gallery Night MKE features numerous venues exhibiting art throughout Milwaukee neighborhoods, including the Historic Third Ward, East Town, Walker’s Point and more. Admission is free to all venues during event hours. Gallery Night MKE will take place in 2026 on the following dates: April 17-18, July 17-18 and Oct. 16-17.

You're invited to Admitted Student Day, an open house event offering a walk through of MIAD’s facilities, demonstrations, workshops and presentations, information tables, and one-on-one guidance for students admitted for fall. You’ll have the opportunity to explore our campus including Two50Two: MIAD's Student Apartments, view our Senior Exhibition, speak with faculty and staff, and connect with your future MIAD classmates! Student and faculty volunteers will be on-hand to answer questions and welcome you throughout the day.
