Several students from MIAD faculty Breehan James’ Water Media course and Kevin J. Miyazaki’s Professional Practices Junior Photography class were selected to participate in the juried show, Wisconsin Confidential, on view at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center through Feb. 3, 2013.
“The postcards could be original images, store-bought postcards or altered postcards…. I chose an image of my own of the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee,” said Sinead Eby ’14, a student in the photography class. “The City of Milwaukee has always been my home and is how this state is seen through my eyes.”
Students selected from Water Media 1 include: Asieh Amiri ’15, Daniela Anderson-Fernandez ’15, Nicholas Gifford ’15, DeAnn Guenterberg ’15, Caitlin Hastert ’14, Jasmine McMasters ’15, David Mueller ’13, Shannon Nelson ’15, Justin Pigorsch ’14, Levi Wagner ’15 and Allie Wong ‘13.
Professional Practices Junior Photography students include: Alyssa Basinger ’14, Sinead Eby ’14, Devon Endsley ’14, Teresa Gagliano ’14, Topher Mack ’14, Tom Nardini ’15 and Megan Nault ’14.
Wisconsin Confidential is part of THE WISCONSIN PROJECT, in which artists reveal a hidden side of Wisconsin through postcards representing the Wisconsin not often seen.
