2026 MIAD Fall Alumni Gathering

Thank you for all of the excitement that you brought to the 2025 MIAD Alumni Reunion weekend, with more than 100 alumni attending and reconnecting over our shared creative legacy, and making new memories!

Alumni Reunion Weekends will be held every other year, and returns in October 2027, with a special Alumni Fall Gathering planned for October 2026.

Even-numbered years: Alumni Fall Gathering (Friday evening celebration during Gallery Night MKE, with Emeriti Faculty recognition, networking, and exhibition openings.)

Odd-numbered years: Alumni Reunion Weekend (Weekend celebration with all of the above, plus class reunions, college presentations, hands-on activities, photobooth, tours, and more.)

Join us this fall for MIAD Alumni Fall Gathering, an evening to reconnect and experience the energy of campus during Gallery Night MKE.

Whether it’s been a year or a decade since you’ve been back, this is the perfect opportunity to catch up with classmates, reconnect with current and former faculty, and celebrate the creativity and community that make MIAD so special.

This year, we will also honor the remarkable careers and lasting contributions of Dale Shidler (Communication Design) and Rina Yoon (Fine Art + New Studio Practice) during a special Emeriti Faculty Recognition.

Enjoy complimentary appetizers while exploring MIAD’s fall exhibition openings as part of Gallery Night MKE. Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase, and your first drink is on us! Admission is free. 

Guests are invited to make an optional gift to the Alumni Senior Thesis Awards, which supports MIAD graduating seniors’ final projects as they prepare to launch their creative careers. If you’re unable to attend the fall gathering, please consider supporting this initiative.
