Maureen M. Kane has more than 36 years of professional experience in graphic design, software instruction and illustration. She has been running her own graphic design business (MMK Design) for over 26 years. She began MMK Design in 1997 with a mission to provide affordable graphic design to the non profit community. MMK Design was awarded the A. David Schwartz Business Humanitarian Award from the Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee in 2009; and multiple Milwaukee Press Club awards for her layouts & photo-collage illustrations for the Wisconsin Gazette. MMK Design, is officially certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) through the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative, and a member of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
