Ukrit Danaivan, an Industrial Design senior from Thailand, has won one of the three first prizes in the national Interzinc design competition. This year the theme was design of scales or balances to be made out of zinc. For his part, Ukrit designed a triple beam balance. His project was among 86 entries submitted from 7 schools. His prize is $2,000.
