The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design invites you and your family to attend a MIAD Information Day in 2025–2026. A MIAD Info Day is a great opportunity for students interested in attending MIAD to learn more about the college. Please join us promptly at 9:00 a.m. to experience the day’s activities.

Step into a powerful exploration of memory, history and legacy through photography. Using a century-old family camera adapted for the digital age, Nic Umbs creates hauntingly beautiful portraits that reveal both what we remember and what time erases. Join the experience, engage in conversation and reflect on how photographs shape our personal histories.

This workshop is first come, first serve and will take place in the 2nd floor lighting studios.

Join us for the 2025 Milwaukee National Portfolio Day hosted by the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design! This event is free and open to the public on MIAD's campus. This is an opportunity for you to meet with representatives from accredited art and design colleges across the nation. Representatives will review your artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in design, art and creative fields.
