Milwaukee’s most original art performance, auction and sale returned for a third year September 20 to benefit MIAD’s academic programs. Alumni, students, faculty and staff joined community members and area artists for a dynamic evening in the studios of Flux Design. Hosted and presented by Flux with the Alumni Association, the evening was dedicated to the memory of Steve Lacey, MIAD 3-D Lab Director and faculty member, who passed away on September 18.

Among the auction and for sale items were 26 steamroller prints, many done for the first time this year with cut and colored paper and fabric; mixed-media sculpture; and eclectic artworks.

Jeremy Shamrowicz, president and co-founder of Flux Design, created this woodcut steamroller print in memory of Steve Lacey.
