While a student and after graduation from the Milwaukee School of the Arts in 1978, I was involved in the production of fine arts lithographs and handmade paper at the “Fishy Whale Press” (owned and operated by Roland Poska, one of the “founders” of MIAD). My work in the most democratic of art medium (printmaking) led me to a greater appreciation of society as a whole. I left the world of being a praticing artisan and began the study of society ( social and economic). After extensive study, I found my “home” in higher education administration. I have worked for local anti-poverty agencies, the University of Wisconsin, MIAD, and presently am employed by Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon as Director of Financial Aid. : Is there an online gallery of our work we can have things in?
