Registration Policies for Continuing Education and Creative Educators Institute
MIAD’S CONTINUING EDUCATION POLICY STATEMENT
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes are kept small to facilitate individual instruction. Early registration is strongly recommended. A minimum number of registrations (usually 8) must be received for a class to be held. Class tuition and fees must be paid in full to guarantee enrollment in a course.
Cancellation/Withdrawal
If MIAD’s Continuing Education Program cancels a class, your fee will be refunded in full. If a student wishes to drop a class, a refund, minus a $15 processing fee for each class, is granted if notification of withdrawal is received on or before the registration deadline. Refunds will not be granted after that time.
Any class cancelled due to weather, instructor illness or other circumstance will be rescheduled one to two weeks after the conclusion of the class. There is no prorating of tuition if the student cannot attend the make up session.
Registration Confirmation
A letter of confirmation and supply lists from the Continuing Education Office will follow receipt of a completed registration.
