Zoë Darling is a mother, artist and educator from Milwaukee, who’s been teaching at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design since 2006.  She received her MFA in Printmaking from the State University of New York at Purchase College in 2003. In 2015 Darling authored and taught “Narrative of Privilege: The Interview Project” for the first time.  This integrated research-based studio course changed her life.  Placing the study of societal privileges and discriminations at the center of her work, she comes at the creative process from an obsession with the human body and daily rituals of survival. Modes of delivery include bookmaking, drawing, installation, performance, photography, printmaking, writing & video.
