Kyle James’ work spans feature films, movie posters, children’s books, and award-winning short films. As a MIAD alum, his film, The Death Drive, traveled internationally winning “Best Short Film” in several film festivals and was exhibited at the Museum of Wisconsin Art. Working with the filmmaking team, Moonflower Productions, Kyle received the Brico Forward Fund grant in both 2015 and 2016 for an animated feature film he is directing called RAWSPACE. In addition to this film, Kyle has worked on marketing campaigns for several Netflix movies & shows, and has recently expanded into illustrating video game and movie cover art.
