Bruce Humphries received his M.F.A. in Sculpture from the University of Kansas and has taught art in Kansas, Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Bruce works in a variety of media including sculpture, video, drawing and ceramics. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in Hungary, Italy, Germany, Philadelphia, Chicago, Texas and Georgia, and has been featured in publications such as Creative Quarterly (New York) and Versal Magazine (Amsterdam). An article about his music was published in the Philadelphia Examiner and the European magazine Stigmart10 included a three-page interview with Bruce in its May 2013 issue focused on work in video. Bruce has also exhibited work and won awards at the Wright Museum of Art (Beloit, WI) and the Trout Museum (Appleton, WI), and was selected to exhibit work in the 2014 Wisconsin Artists Biennial held at the Museum of Wisconsin Art (West Bend, WI).
