Mulder, Rachel

Rachel Mulder is a draftswoman/closet printmaker living in Portland, Oregon.  She grew up in rural Wisconsin and earned her BFA in Printmaking at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2007. Embracing the happy accident coveted in traditional printmaking, Mulder uses a typewriter to create both large- and small-scale drawings while she produces other works embodying similarly obsessive and formulaic methods of drawing.
