For the past seven years I have been employed at Fermilab, a non-profit high-energy physics research laboratory run by the Universities Research Association, funded by the Department of Energy. My position as visual communication specialist focuses my design skills through communication and research. I have created various design projects for the science community which have included: exhibitions, symposiums, conferences, and art gallery venues. I am also an active volunteer of the Art & Lectures Series at Fermilab, which attempts to bridge science and the arts.
My work at the Laboratory has provided enriching opportunities and interactions with the surrounding communities, contemporary political figures, and international physicists and engineers.
In May of 2006, I will complete my Master’s degree at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Arts Administration!
