Creative Fusion returns for a sold-out success

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design’s Creative Fusion fundraiser returned as a sold-out success on May 3 to benefit scholarships at Wisconsin’s only independent college of art and design.

Four Baird executives and their wives – Steve and Melanie Booth, Peter and Sarah Kies, Tom and Jane Lacy, and Ross and Angela Williams – hosted 320 guests in a Celebration of Fine Art and Design. Guests attired in their interpretation of Fine Design enjoyed silent and live auctions conducted by Sotheby’s auctioneer Gary Metzner and MIAD’s 2008 Senior Exhibition in the college’s energetic atmosphere.

Non-art auction items included a two-week, guided, educational trip for two with MIAD students and faculty to steep art lovers in the culture, history and art of Florence, Italy.
