fa2013_info_dayThe Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design invites high school seniors and their family to attend Senior Information Day on Saturday, September 22 from 8:30am to 12:30pm.  This is an opportunity for students interested in attending MIAD in Fall 2013 to learn more about the college. 

PLEASE NOTE: This event is exclusively for high school seniors planning to attend MIAD in Fall 2013. If you are a transfer student or interested in a different semester, please contact the Office of Admissions at 888.749.MIAD or admissions@miad.edu to schedule an individual appointment.

9am-9:55am: PRESENTATIONS
An Overview of MIAD
Tips for Developing a Portfolio
Financing a MIAD Education

10am-11am: CAREER LECTURE
The Freelance Artist, Carol Schwartz

11am-12:30pm: TOURS OF MIAD/MEET MIAD’s FACULTY
Campus tours will be offered, and MIAD’s faculty will be available (open-house style) to discuss their programs.

PLEASE NOTE

  • This event will take place at MIAD’s main campus building, located at 273 East Erie Street, Milwaukee, WI. A paid parking structure is located on Chicago Street, and there is metered street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Please obey all metered time limits.
  • Tours of MIAD’s residence hall, The Park at 1824, will be available from 1pm-3pm on September 22 for those who are interested. The Park at 1824 is located at 1824 East Park Place, Milwaukee, WI 53211, a short drive from MIAD. The Park at 1824 will be providing an ‘open-house’ experience so you may visit anytime between 1-3pm. As not all families may wish to the visit The Park at 1824, no transportation will be provided between the two locations.
  • Please do not bring your portfolio to this event. If you wish to have a formal portfolio review, please contact MIAD’s Office of Admissions to schedule an appointment.
