MILWAUKEE (October 1, 2019) … Renowned artist Radcliffe Bailey gives an artist talk, open to the public, at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) Thursday, October 17, 6 p.m. Admission is free.

The Atlanta-based artist discusses his work Pensive, featured in Sculpture Milwaukee along Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. Bailey’s sculpture depicts the African American writer, historian, sociologist and activist W.E.B. Du Bois in the position of Auguste Rodin’s iconic work The Thinker.
