MIAD students have access to the Marquette University Counseling Center, located in Room 204 of Holthusen Hall at 1324 W. Wisconsin Avenue. Marquette Counseling Center provides immediate and short-term counseling to MIAD students dealing with varied personal concerns. Concerns include self-esteem, relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss. MU's Counseling Center is staffed by professional counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers and a consulting psychiatrist experienced in working with college students. This is a free and confidential service available to all MIAD students.
The Counseling Center is open for appointments Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Appointments are required, although emergency appointments can be scheduled through Student Services at MIAD should immediate intervention be required.
