Holiday Greetings from President Morin

“Education is the movement from darkness to light.”
Allan Bloom
As the winter solstice approaches, perhaps it is only natural to reach for symbols of education that reference the transformational nature of light. MIAD’s staff and faculty members work in tandem to make student success possible. Though we may not hear from each and every graduate about the evolutionary nature of education, we can rest assured that, just as the days grow longer, what we do changes lives for the better.
Wishing you all the best that this season offers.
President Jeff Morin

Please join me in supporting the class of 2016!
Be part of the 2016 Senior Exhibition! Help support our seniors as they embark on fabricating and installing their exhibition by donating to the Alumni Thesis Scholarship Awards. We know only too well the financial challenges involved in achieving a dream exhibition.
The money donated by alumni, and alumni alone, goes directly to the students selected to receive the awards. It’s all up to us – the money raised will determine the number of awards and the amounts awarded. Last year we were able to give out three $500 scholarships. This year the goal is to raise $2,500 , and to award five scholarships in February.
Join me in supporting the creative endeavors of the class of 2016. Simply click here to give: Give to the Alumni Thesis Scholarship

If everyone who receives this email gives just $5 or $10 dollars we would be able to award scholarships to OVER 16 SENIORS.
If you have issues with the online giving form, please contact Carol Davis at 414‑847‑3238.

Want to get involved? Consider joining the Alumni Council, a group of alumni that meets 6 times a year. We focus on ways to engage and bring alumni together, as well as connecting alumni to students and the college. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Annie Hyma.
