That's MIAD

We appreciate the time you've taken to get to know our students. We are as proud of them as we are honored by the donors who choose to support them.

This year, to meet our students' needs and respond to our donors' wishes, we have expanded our Annual Fund giving opportunities.

No gift is too small to significantly affect one student's life. The entire MIAD community - students, alumni, faculty, staff and trustees - gratefully appreciates each gift.

Gifts of lesser amounts may be made in any category except Named Scholarships. Contributions beyond the suggested amounts are also greatly appreciated.

$100 supports Events and Activities for students' professional and leadership development.

$300 supports the two Supply Kits each freshman needs.

$500 supports a student's on-campus Meal Plan for one year; $1,000 supports two years - the time students beyond the Greater Milwaukee region are required to live on campus.

$2,000 supports a scholarship to MIAD's on-site Pre-College summer residency programs for beginning and advanced students. Nearly half of Pre-College students are diverse, economically challenged and first-generation students.

$3,000 supports a Breaking New Ground Scholarship for a first-generation student based on diversity and need, with preference to Wisconsin students.

$3,500 supports a Housing Scholarship to a student in need. A generous donor will match Housing Scholarships up to $75,000 for three years, with preference to students who are first-generation and diverse.

$5,000 supports a General Scholarship to help a promising student realize his or her potential.

$10,000 supports a Named Scholarship in the name of your choosing.

Unrestricted Gifts support areas of greatest need, and have been used, for example, for important technology and program updates, general scholarships and building improvements. The college relies on these gifts as they provide funds to meet unexpected opportunities.
