Desktop Publishing Certificate MIADs Continuing Education non-credit Certificate in Desktop Publishing is structured for adults who want professional recognition for a comprehensive course of study in the current technology in computer design. DTP Certificate students are expected to attend classes, complete class assignments and receive a recommendation of competence from their MIAD instructors. The certificate acknowledges the recipient’s successful completion of the following MIAD Continuing Education courses: Visual Literacy, DTP: InDesign, DTP: Illustrator, DTP: Photoshop and Advanced Desktop Publishing: Production for Designers. Students should note on their registration form whether they are interested in a Desktop Publishing Certificate. Web Design Certificate MIAD’s Continuing Education Program now offers a Web Design Certificate Program giving adult non-degree students a structured and comprehensive approach to learning web design for professional development. Web Certificate students are required to attend classes, complete class assignments and receive a recommendation of competence from their MIAD instructors. The certificate acknowledges the recipient’s successful completion of the following MIAD Continuing Education courses: Visual Literacy, Photoshop, Photoshop for the Web, Introduction to Web Design, Flash, Advanced Motion Graphics and Advanced Web Design. Additional courses are available, but not required, to enhance and expand upon a student’s web design skills.
