REGISTRATION
On the Web Here's the easiest way: from the class description page, click the "REGISTER" button, and fill in the on-line form. You can also download the
Continuing Education Registration Form and then mail, fax or bring
it in with your payment. The Form is in .pdf format and can be read by
Adobe Acrobat Reader.
By Mail The completed registration form, along with
your tuition check, money order, VISA, Mastercard or American Express
information, will reserve places in the classes you choose.

In Person Registration can also be made in person at
the Continuing Education Office, Room 75 on the 2nd Floor, Monday through
Friday. Please call for hours.
By Phone Registrations using VISA, Mastercard or American
Express for tuition payment may be made by calling the Continuing Education
at 414-847-3330.
By Fax Registrations using a charge card for tuition
payment may also be made by faxing a copy of the registration form to
the MIAD fax number 414-847-3339, including completed VISA, Mastercard
or American Express information. Please call after faxing to confirm that
your transmission was received.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Class
sizes are kept small to facilitate individual instruction. Early registration
is strongly recommended. Registrations made by the early date indicated
are eligible for the discounted tuition listed. A minimum number of registrations
(usually 8) must be received by the announced deadline for a class to
be held. Class tuition fees must be paid in full to guarantee enrollment
in a course.
Registration Deadlines Please make certain that your
registration and fees are received on or before the deadline listed for
each class. Late registration is permitted on a space-available basis
only. A letter of confirmation and supply lists from the Continuing Education
Office will follow receipt of payment.
Gift Certificates Gift certificates
are available year round in the amount you specify. The recipient can
choose from any one of our courses and has up to a year from the date
of issuance to use the gift. Please contact the Continuing Education office
for more details.
Cancellation/Withdrawal If MIAD Continuing Education
Program cancels a class, your fee will be refunded in full.
If a student wishes to drop a class, a refund, minus a $15 processing
fee for each class, is granted if notification of withdrawal is received
three business days prior to the first class meeting. Refunds will not
be granted after that time.
Discounts Members of the MIAD/Layton Alumni Community
receive a 25% discount on non-credit tuition fees. Art teachers and persons
55 years of age and over receive a 10% discount on non-credit tuition
fees. Discounts are taken at the time of registration. There are no discounts
on book fees, trips or Pre-College, music or other indicated classes.
Art Supplies can be purchased at discounts of 20-30%
at Sax/MIAD, the art supply store located in MIAD's main building. Please
call Sax/MIAD at 414-277-0722 for their hours.
Certificates of Attendance are available at no additional
cost for Continuing Education students who wish verification of non-credit
study at MIAD. Consistent attendance is required.
