If you're reading this, you probably have taken or taught a Continuing
Education course, or have heard about MIAD's reputation for education
excellence.
Currently, MIAD faculty, staff and board members are participating in
college-wide strategic planning and have come together to create
initiatives to best deliver services to those we educate and to advance
the college's core mission of undergraduate education.
In fact, MIAD is poised to welcome the largest incoming class in its
history.
As we build on our successes with the goal of transforming the experience
for every student who attends MIAD, we will assess the Continuing
Education program following the completion of this summer's classes. Our
goal is to align CE not only with MIAD's core mission, but also with
changing business and educational needs and changing styles of learning
across generations, particularly millennial learners.
While this yearlong assessment and realignment is conducted, we will not
run the program, though we will seek the input of our valued CE
participants in the program's transformation. We also hope you will join
us at MIAD exhibits and public events.
