MIAD students elect an active group of students as the "Area Representative Team" (ART) to work with and for the individual majors and the Foundations class, the MIAD staff, and the MIAD Board of Trustees. New students will also have the opportunity to nominate and elect three Foundations area representatives early in the fall semester to serve. An all-student representative is elected to preside over the Area Representative body and to provide a voice at the MIAD Board of Trustees meetings. The Area Representative Team serves as a liaison to the entire MIAD community, with the shared goal of promoting quality education and community life.
