At MIAD you will have the chance to take advantage of a unique blend of international study experiences, all of which will enable you to earn credit toward graduation. These include course offerings in a number of major European cities. Recent journeys have included visits to Paris, Florence and Siena. Each summer, MIAD sponsors an exchange with the Burren College of Art, which enables MIAD students to spend an eventful and educational four weeks enjoying the unique landscape of Ireland and the special hospitality of the Irish people.

MIAD maintains academic affiliations and/or exchange opportunities for students to study with other notable art and design colleges throughout the world or for their students to study at MIAD. Among these are:
