Like the art history minor, a writing minor is particularly valuable for students considering graduate study, curatorial work, or as part of professional training in design areas that stress verbal as well as visual skills. A total of 15 credits within the Liberal Studies division at MIAD are required to complete the minor. Students minoring in writing will fulfill their requirements through advanced level writing classes, internships, independent studies and writing elective courses.
