Like the writing minor, the art history minor is particularly valuable for students considering graduate study, curatorial work, or as part of professional training in design areas that stress verbal as well as visual skills. A total of 15 credits within the Liberal Studies division at MIAD are required to complete the minor. Students minoring in art history will fulfill their requirements through a variety of art history electives and discipline-specific courses.
