MIAD students have access to the Marquette University Counseling Center, located in Room 204 of Holthusen Hall at 1324 West Wisconsin Avenue. Marquette Counseling Center provides immediate and short-term counseling to MIAD students dealing with varied personal concerns. Concerns include self-esteem, relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss. MU's Counseling Center is staffed by professional counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers and a consulting psychiatrist experienced in working with college students. This is a free and confidential service available to all MIAD students. To make an appointment, contact Jennifer Crandall (Room R100), or Tony Nowak (Room R45C) for a referral, or phone Marquette Counseling Center directly (288-7172) and identify yourself as a MIAD student.
