MIAD contracts with Marquette University for health services. MIAD students have full access to Marquette University's Health Center, a full service clinic staffed by physicians and nurses. MU's Health Center provides both preventative and urgent (non-emergency) medical care. Most services are free for MIAD students but nominal fees are charged for some services and laboratory work. MIAD students may use the health center, which is only a mile away, from 8:30 - 4:00 Monday through Friday, and Saturday mornings whenever classes are in session. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted. Students may either contact the MU health service directly (414-288-7184), or go to either Student Services Office (R45) or Learning Resource Center (R100) to obtain referral assistance.
