MIAD has a faculty advising program through which each student is assigned a faculty advisor. The purpose of the advising program is to give to each student a practicing artist, designer or scholar with whom there can be a continuing discussion about life, visual expression and professional conduct. This relationship enhances, but does not replace, the counseling services offered by other MIAD professionals.
