The CORE Fine Arts curriculum allows for investigation of two fine art or design subjects. Students whose eventual goal is to study design in the three week MAJORS program are encouraged to begin their exploration with one or more design courses in the CORE Fine Arts program. Both fine arts and design classes introduce concepts that are elemental in the visual arts. Carefully constructed courses address two- and three-dimensional issues of composition, form, design, mark-making and color. Class size averages 15.
