Creative Educators Institute (CEI) at MIAD

CEI brings over 100 outstanding educators and nationally known presenters to MIAD each summer in late July for intensive weeklong professional development /studio residencies.

Teachers enjoy working in MIAD's state-of-the-art studio/technology facilities while earning undergraduate or graduate credit toward re-certification. Participants select one course per week in which they explore the cross-disciplinary potential of art/design and technology applications within a creative curriculum. CEI evening studio time and art/design related events help teachers to build a supportive nationwide network and recharge their creative side.
