Oct 10, 2006 Ada Medina is an interdisciplinary artist who transitions between drawing, painting and sculpture. Born near the Tex/Mex border, Medina later received a B.F.A. in painting from the Layton School of Art & Design and her M.A. and M.F.A. degrees in drawing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Medina is the recipient of several distinguished grants, including a Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant and a National Foundation for the Arts Individual Artist's Fellowship.
