Nov 12, 2007 Choreographers and visual artists have for a long time collaborated in
projects that have captivated many North American audiences. These
multifaceted and multidimensional projects expand our concept of space as they provide opportunities for collaboration among different kinds of artists.
Sofi Askenazi received an Open Major (Painting Concentration) BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1996, and a MFA in choreography and Performance from UWM in 2006. She was a member of Wild Space Dance Company for seven years, and is now choreographing and producing her own work in the Milwaukee Area. |
