Professor Noffsinger discusses the body of mixed media work stemming from his sabbatical year. Following the path of the Lewis and Clark expedition from 200 years ago, Noffsinger created his own ”Corps of Discovery” experience — sampling and observing the culture of the American heartland, while recording his observations through photography, written journals, sketch books and collected objects.
