Mar 8, 2006 The Liberal Studies Division invites you to attend MIAD's fifth annual service learning symposium. Our guest speaker, John Fitzgerald, will be delivering a presentation on his journey of being a white American who grew in activism to the point of becoming a racial justice advocate. He is Policy Advocate at the Institute for Racial Justice, Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, and co-director of Everytown, a grassroots community service program designed to enable high school youth to experience, appreciate, respect and understand people of diverse cultural backgrounds. |
