| Kenneth Bendiner: Lunch With Vincent Van Gogh |  |
Apr 18, 2005 Professor Ken Bendiner from the art history department of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
will speak on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Eisner Museum at 11:15. His topic is a
tasty one: Food in the Art of Vincent van Gogh. Just this year, he published his
book, Food in Painting: From the Renaissance to the Present, which is in the MIAD
library. Bendiner received his Ph.D from Columbia University in New York, and
has published three previous books on English art of the Victorian period. He
has also written on Matisse, Rauschenberg and other 20th century art and artists.
