William E. Massie is on the forefront of research and application of digital technology in the design and the production of architectural space. He has been exploring the implications of digital fabrication techniques as they redefine the generation of form as well as the role of the architect. Among his most published works are the "Playa Urbana / Urban Beach" installation at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York City and a series of residential houses in Montana.
