manufacturing

Marta Male-Alemany
Free and open to the public

Marta Male-Alemany, practices architecture in Barcelona and Los Angeles and is currently on design faculty at SCI-Arc.

Marta's current work reflects her interest in the relationship between new digital technologies and the production of architecture. Her work focuses on the conceptual and material opportunities that emerge from working with a digital environment/software. By instantly calculating production details alongside of the modeling process, customized pieces can be made with the efficiency of mass production. She has several design projects in development, ranging from furniture prototypes to building renovations.

Part of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design's Interior Architecture + Design lecture series:
FUZZY EDGE 2: RESISTANT MATTERS
