Rachel Bruya Walker is a cross-disciplinary artist working in printmaking, photography and sculpture.  Her work investigates the conscious and subconscious experiences with light and mass in the vernacular environment, transporting the viewer to a magical place.  These places are not clearly real or imagined, leaving the viewer in a state of inquiry.  She received an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BFA in Photography from the University of Washington in Seattle.  Her work is included in numerous public and private collections, including the Target Corporation, Wisconsin Union and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.  She has exhibited throughout the United States.
