Pat Nemchock is a Master Teacher who has mentored hundreds of the nation's most outstanding high school art student to receive awards at Scholastic Competitions, go on to schools of art and design, receive significant scholarships and national awards. Her reputation as a leader in her field is recognized nationally and in her own state. Her approach to teaching drawing and painting and curricular innovation is unique and effective. Since retiring from 29 years at Lawrence High School, most recently as Chair of the Art Department Nemchock has taught at MIAD's Creative Educators Institute and the Kansas City Art Institute. She is returning this summer by popular demand. |
