Kendra CredePrint

Air rushes past my pressed glass face and snarls through the jet engine, propelling me toward my copper desert -- my scorpion nights. I desire to forever discover inspiration and remember those experiences in writing. I coach my students to practice expression through writing.

Kendra has been teaching composition since 2004 at Western Illinois, Black Hawk College, Augustana College, St. Ambrose University, Bryant and Stratton College, and the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Her teaching extends to the Western Illinois University Writing Center and the Black Hawk College Success Center. She has presented research at Western Illinois, University of Iowa, University of Missouri, 2005 CCC Conference, and 2006 MMLA Conference. Kendra’s recent research explores relationships in a literary marketplace and a community of readers.

Kendra received a Master of Arts in English literature and language from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she also earned a degree in International Studies with a Latin American concentration.
