We each receive up to 3,000 messages daily—most of them created by a communication designer. As text communication explodes from the printed page to the digitized and animated screen, the role and impact of communication designers is greater than ever. Nearly 500 MIAD alumni work in the communication design field, producing publications, web sites ads and more. This juried exhibition draws on outstanding examples of communication design by MIAD alumni throughout the country. From animations to magazines, enjoy the art of their design.

All MIAD and Layton Communication Design (and Graphic Design) alumni are invited to a reception in the Visual Voice exhibition, in the Layton Gallery, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
