AH110: Western Art from Pre-History to 1400 Print
Topics in Historical Art: Prehistory to 1400 is a course in which a number of themes in historical Western and Non-Western art are examined. Key art objects in cultural periods from prehistoric times to the 15th century will be the focus of study. Through intensive reading, writing and oral projects, students will learn to identify and discuss key works of art made before 1400 A.D. in Western and Non-Western cultures. In the course, students will engage in activities centering around observation, description, analysis of art objects.
Credits: 3.0
