| FA230: Introduction to Screenprinting & Relief |

This introductory course will cover a wide range of screenprinting techniques using water-based inks and basic monochromatic relief processes. In screenprinting, various stencil methods including photographic and block out stencil are examined as well as the proper equipment usage and printing techniques. In relief processes using linoleum and/or various wood blocks, students will be acquainted with proper usage of tools, presses, different papers, and other materials as well as printing techniques.
