This course fosters the growth and development of a personally evolved pictorial philosophy. (Painting media open.) With instructor consultation, students are required to propose a self-defined course of study. Concept and content are examined as requisite technical and theoretical components. In addition, aesthetic philosophy is introduced and discussed. Traditional and contemporary painting issues are examined through lectures, guests and exhibitions.
